FIRST SESSION

Sometime in the night after the first trial, even though you're sleeping deeply, you'll still have a memory of a sharp prick of a needle in your neck. In fact, when you wake, you'll feel the remnants of it. It's 7AM, and you're the only ones awake in your room. It's at this point that you'll hear Judy's message asking for you to come to the room she describes.

"Thank you for coming," Judy explains, her voice as calm and even as always, "I've chosen both of you because I believe you can do good here. I cannot stop the events about to unfold, but I can at least do this much to slow its progress."

There's a pause, and nearby, a terminal flickers to life with its rather dated, flickering glow.

"Together, the two of you represent the Think Tank, and so it's your duty to protect your fellow residents from the danger that might befall them. There are people among us that wish to cause chaos and kill the people here, and while I cannot tell you their names directly... There is a loophole."

There's a pause again, and Judy starts again, it sounds like she's smiling.

"Together, the two of you may pick someone every night, and I can tell you if they are innocent or guilty. I can give you this information, but what you do with it after is up to you. Be careful, however. Should the guilty find out what I've asked of you, they'll surely kill you, so I advise cleverness in how you choose to make your alliances and share your information.

This is not a task to be taken lightly. I hope you'll both take it seriously, so I wish you both luck. I can answer any questions if you have them, but please make your selection on the terminal within the hour. In addition, please review the safety protocol, as this is important for ensuring the security of your position."
