![]() At some point when your character is alone, they'll hear Judy's even, calm voice speaking through the intercom system. The intercom is only speaking in this room, and it seems she's speaking to you and you alone. "Hello. It's time to get to work..." You're being given a chance to help stop or slow the game you've been trapped in. This isn't justice, and Judy wants you to help her stop this before it goes too far. Judy directs you up to the third floor, and though most of the doors are still locked up tight, there's one room on the Western hallway that you can now access through the code that Judy has given you: 6227#007. The room itself is a simple, barely stocked office that was clearly some kind of security office. Welcome, Security Chiefs. It's time to get to work and arm your fellow residents. |

How about both? He'll protect himself by killing someone who he thinks is suspicious.
[ that's how it... works, right? but there is something else that he has to tell dickson, and he gets right to it. ]
By the way, I've already told him about all of this. I didn't tell him anything about you, though — so don't worry about yourself. As far as he's concerned, he thinks that I'm working on my own.
[ WELL... there you have it! hopefully, high risk will bring him high reward, or it'll bring him death. ]
It might have been foolish, or my efforts will pay off in the end. But I end up dying in a night or two because of this, well... I'm leaving this job up to you, okay?
RETROSPECT MAKES BEIGN A SECURITY CHIEF THE WORST
Heh, wouldn't that be something.
[Meaning it might not work that way, but hey, if someone gets some use out of the weapons they put out, it's all well and good. Apart from them being premade, it's just like Dickson's usual job anyway.
He's more amused than anything, until Dazai drops that particular bomb and his expression darkens considerably. He frowns at Dazai.]
What the hell? What's the big idea, giving yourself away like that? [HE KNOWS YOU LIKE DEATH BUT.] It's not like I've got a choice whether you die from your own damn foolishness or unluckiness, anyway.
[He's definitely angry, scolding. It's almost as if he cares.]
I'M IN TEARS DAZAI SUCKS AT THIS dickson can pick next everything
I went out of my way to get us some insurance. If I die, then you know that Kei is a staff member, and you'll be able to go after him. If I don't die, then he's innocent.
[ of course, it's not as simple as that, but it's better than nothing. ]
Finally, if I don't die, and something suspecting him comes up, I can defend him. But... if I have to do that, then I'll definitely die in the next night or two.
[ which means that he probably won't hesitate to rush into it if he has to, putting his life on the line. but he looks up then, giving dickson a small, encouraging smile. ]
Either way, Dickson — I'm still leaving this task up to you. Do a good job, okay?
pats Dazai
So he merely nods. At least it seems like Dazai thought it through, and that bit of info...oh, that's good. Okay, fine, he'll bite. WHATEVER, DAZAI.]
I'll do whatever job I feel like doing, thank you very much.
[So grumpy.]
Which just so happens to be my very best.
[And humble.]
I just hope you know what you're doing, kid. But go on, pick something for your little buddy and we'll see what happens.
[And then, they can go back to bed. That was easy!]
