![]() At some point when your character is alone, they'll hear Judy's even, calm voice speaking through the intercom system. The intercom is only speaking in this room, and it seems she's speaking to you and you alone. "Hello. It's time to get to work..." You're being given a chance to help stop or slow the game you've been trapped in. This isn't justice, and Judy wants you to help her stop this before it goes too far. Judy directs you up to the third floor, and though most of the doors are still locked up tight, there's one room on the Western hallway that you can now access through the code that Judy has given you: 6227#414. The room itself is a simple, barely stocked office that seems more like a storage closet than anything else. However, the radio, the televisions, and computer terminals give the impression that this might have been a communications office of some kind. Though, interestingly, it seems that you're not alone. It looks like you have a partner for the work ahead. Welcome, Think Tank. It's time to get to work and find out who among you is trying to kill everyone here. |

But, Diva didn't seem to understand the severity of defending herself or keeping her damn mouth shut at trial. If you want to vote Shijima, fine, but be sure about it. We'll need to figure out how to get people to vote for her if the time comes.
[ She has to bring that up, especially since they voted wrong once, could they vote wrong again? ]
... I want to make one thing perfectly clear, though.
[ Elizabeth turns from the terminal, tracing her steps carefully to him. Approaching him with narrowed, focused eyes. ]
This is serious. I don't care if you make friends here or allies - but don't mention this to them until we both confirm innocence. Don't put your faith so blindly into others when they have the chance to rip your hope away.
[ It's like, super tense, guys. ]
If you go down, I won't go down with you.

For a second, he'd thought that there was some sort of camaraderie in this. That he wasn't to be completely alone for once when facing what seemed to be an insurmountable task, but...that was too naive, wasn't it?
In the end, it's just people using him to their own ends, and rightly so, and he knows it. His shoulders slump, and there's a bitter twist to his mouth, but his response is sincere enough, at least.]
I know. I won't tell anyone without talking to you about it first, and it's not like I'll tell them about you either way. I'm not that stupid.
[And... well, if he does mess this up, he doesn't want Elizabeth to die for it either. That'd be wrong.]

I don't like this any more than you do. [ She doesn't.. care for anyone here. She needs to get home. She needs to - find out why she can't remember a few things... ] I'm your ally here and you're mine, but the task - it's a heavy one. If you'd like for me to carry it alone, I will.
[ Don't get too grumpy, Alice? because there's definitely a lot going on with Elizabeth. In moments when she comes off so cold, so calculative... there's warmth. The gesture was all that she can offer now. ]
People here like to talk, charm their ways into trust. I'm no different. [ She knows how to play the system. ] I don't want to put you or myself at risk. Your business and pleasure shouldn't be mixed.
[ However, she turns once more to face towards the terminal. ]
...Shijima? Would you like to choose her?

But there's definitely a lot of mixed messages here, and while he's trying his best to figure them all out, Alice? is a painfully straightforward person. He's not really that good at this... though he's trying.
Still, he's latching onto that word-- "ally".
Maybe... even if it's still in a sense using each other, maybe he can depend on her a little.]
No, you don't have to do it alone. What kind of gentleman would I be if I made you do that?
[He's more of a kid than a gentleman despite being 19 (but...well, he's trying here).]
Besides, if we work together on it, then--well, we'll figure it out. [Maybe.] But--I dunno. Shijima's weird but you might've had a point with the whole "pick someone trustworthy" thing. Who were you thinking about?

[ She was fine taking that burden and as she looks to the screen, there's a silence that isn't broken until he speaks up again. ]
... This is our first choice. It won't matter much if we're outnumbered as is. Shijima is fine by me, but for irony's sake, Alice is a fair backup. No one suspects an adorable girl.
[ Oh my god. They are the fucking worst. ]
...Any opposition?

[JUST TO PROVE. IT'S NOT A GRUDGE ABOUT THE NAME THING.
But he nods...and accepts it.]
Works for me. Let's...give it a try and see what happens.

[ SHE HATES THIS!!!! But, she'll go ahead and input the name in the terminal and instinctively take a step back. Who the fuck knows what this will do!! ]

FETCHING RECORD . . .
ALICE. DESIGNATION: INNOCENT.

He blinks.]
That's it?
So... if this is true, then... the other Alice isn't one of the killers, right?
paging judy
...Depends. Just like the staff members and us, there's benefits. Wonder what those are.
[ She'll speak up a bit, hoping maybe Judy will hear her??? ]
Judy, are you there? I have a question.

CAL YOU CAN JUMP BACK IN, SORRY
Sure hope that means if they're staff...
[ She doesn't expect Judy to be blunt. Instead, she looks to Alice? ]
Then the grudge dies here. She's innocent and we have to start looking for clues and signs from others.
IT'S ALL GOOD i was distracted anyway
Fine. I'll try to keep an eye on some people then, maybe figure some stuff out without... making it obvious.
[Ugh.]
This is gonna suck.
