THINK TANK At some point when your character is alone, they'll hear Judy's even, calm voice speaking through the intercom system. The intercom is only speaking in this room, and it seems she's speaking to you and you alone. "Hello. It's time to get to work..." You're being given a chance to help stop or slow the game you've been trapped in. This isn't justice, and Judy wants you to help her stop this before it goes too far. Judy directs you up to the third floor, and though most of the doors are still locked up tight, there's one room on the Western hallway that you can now access through the code that Judy has given you: 6227#414. The room itself is a simple, barely stocked office that seems more like a storage closet than anything else. However, the radio, the televisions, and computer terminals give the impression that this might have been a communications office of some kind. Though, interestingly, it seems that you're not alone. It looks like you have a partner for the work ahead. Welcome, Think Tank. It's time to get to work and find out who among you is trying to kill everyone here.

[ Elizabeth doesn't want him to give up. They can't. After the emotional onslaught, she's going to stop thinking about the target on her own back and focus on getting him to cheer up. She'll hobble over, sore and tired but - he'll feel her hand go up to grab onto his wrist. ]

Listen to me. We're doing good. Two innocents and a staff member. This whole ordeal? Yes, it's a waste. I'd love to be somewhere else right now - like... London or.. I don't know, New York? [ :) Certainly not Paris!! Why would that ever stick out? ] But, we're not like those security officers - we're not killing innocent people on whims.

[ Her hand creeps up and she'll hold onto his bicep firmly. ]

I can't answer that. I don't... I can't see the future anymore. We just have to do our best. We gave everyone in this place hope - hope that they can find the bastards that kept them here. That's... enough for now, isn't it?

[... Right. Elizabeth is the sort of person who is used to knowing what's going on, and right now, she doesn't. (That has to be scary, doesn't it? Je's never thought about it before.)

He sighs, and lifts his free hand to rest it over hers, lightly.]

... It's enough. I'm not gonna give up, so don't worry about me. I'm still here, and you're still here, so...that's gotta mean something, right?

[So many people are dead...but they're still alive.]

So I guess we should focus. We gotta find someone else. So if we're going to name shady people... [He's getting better at this, at not letting his personal biases shine through.] there's Alvin, right?

[tearable]

I have to worry about you. You're my partner in this. You're not alone in this - any of this. We're going to get this figured out.

[ She feels warmth with him, hope. She hopes he can see it too. ]

Alvin is viable... if anything, if he's innocent, he can mingle better than most.

If anyone needs to be worried about, it's you.

[That's just muttered, though (Liz, be more careful???) and then he nods.]

Who else? There are...a lot less people to choose from now.

[It's kind of harder and easier all at once, except he doesn't want to think about it that way.]

Dazai, Guy, Leo, ummm - Alfendi.. Ookurikara... Dojima, Steve - those are the ones that come to mind. Nothing outwardly suspicious about them. People are beginning to tighten up, keep their flaws about them.

[ Elizabeth thinks for a moment, finally pulling away. ]

That makes it hard, really.]

[ I'm so sorry, everyone is shady at this point. Drags hands down face. ]

Alvin? Everyone else seems to have their suspicions. If he's innocent, would you like to pursue him this afternoon?

[ She believes in you! ]
