SCIENTISTS & OVERSEER WEEK 0 Unlike everyone else, you know exactly why you're here. You've been hired to do a job, and it's time to carry it through. Sure, it's a bit odd to wake up with all the residents you were going to be overseeing, but it doesn't really matter. Once everyone is asleep, you have a chance to slip out. After all, the curfew doesn't apply to staff. Once you've left your assigned apartment, Judy's calm, even voice speaks up from the ceiling. "Good evening. It's time to get to work..." She directs you down to the first floor, through a courtroom and an eerily clean room where there's a number pad. You know the code already: 6227#316. Down you go into the operating theater, and through it to the program labs. Here, you'll find everything you may need to carry out your work from the terminal describing that work to a wide variety of tools to be used in the operating theater. After all, none of this is unfamiliar to you. Since you woke up, you knew what you were going to be doing here. You just had to wait until the curfew was in place. The drugs that effect everyone else don't bother you, since you received your shot to resist it. Though, oddly, you know you have that resistance, but you can't quite remember when you got it... Welcome, science team. It's time to get to work so that you can go home all the quicker.

[About time he can stop pretending he doesn't know why he's here. It's a leisurely stroll once Judy contacts him and he follows the sound of her voice straight through to the program labs. From there, he parks in a spinning computer chair and proceeds to swing himself from side to side as he eyes his fellow scientists.]

So...fun little group we have here. [It's tinged with a little sarcasm, don't mind him.] You know, I'm kinda glad we're meeting this late. Less time locked in our rooms with groups of strangers right? [He spins in a circle like the true adult he thinks he is.] First impressions? Let's hear 'em.

Stop spinning in the chair and take this seriously.

[ he's READING THE TERMINAL give him a second. it's all coming back to him now.

he's also totally in his pjs so just know that but from the other side of the room from the terminal is a mimicking high pitched voice -- ]

It's generally not good form for me to submit my suggestions. Surely, you must have your own opinions.

[she gives him a look about the chair spinning, but doesn't comment on it.]

I don't trust most of these idiots with their own opinions.

[jackhole]

[ kicks the terminal before he speaks OUT LOUD this time. ]

You didn't have to make a fool out of me, July. How was I supposed to know I was part of this?

Unless you have something useful to give to us, you can stop speaking.

[He grins a little, making the chair spin a full circle.] I think we have a lot of interesting people out there. I've mostly been putting out feelers and seeing how they react to being here, seeing what they want out of life. Stuff like that. Gives us a better read on their temperament and how easily they'll go down.

[ Maybe Judy was working on paperwork when Luke started spinning around in his chair, who knows? But regardless, once they're all assembled, Judy will calmly speak up to welcome them. ]

Welcome, Complex staff. It's good to see you all together again. For the sake of getting things started, I would like to quickly review our staff. Our science team is composed of Ms. Ava, Mr. Bigby Wolf, Mr. Luke Castellan, and Mr. Reese Lastname.

[ Look, Judy may have a small petty streak, leave her alone. ]

Your overseer for this project is Mr. Ciel Phantomhive. I am here to facilitate the project and make sure things go as planned. If you have any questions or concerns, you may direct them to either of us, though matters of the facility should be primarily directed to me. That is all.

[jackhole]

[ throws the nearest thing at wherever judy's voice is coming from since he's not wearing his shoes. ]

WHO THE HELL IS CIEL PHANTOMHIVE.

[ rhys, come on. ]

[judgejudy]

I did not, but it did bring me some satisfaction. If you start using my name, then I'll apologize.

[jackhole]

[ he just freezes at that for a moment before making a strangled kind of noise and throwing something at ciel instead. ]

No. No, no, no. You're like, what, five years old? This isn't going to work. Juice, put someone else in charge right now!

[judgejudy]

Then what of your own?

[alittlemaster]

[jackhole]

[ hits the terminal again ]

No. You first!

[puffing]

[ Bigby's kept unusually quiet for the first few minutes of their meeting, but at the sight of who their supposed Overseer is, he is quickly snorting out in equal parts surprise and dismay. ]

You've got to be fucking kidding me.

[alittlemaster]

STOP THROWING THINGS, YOU BABOON.

[chiseler]

[He even stops spinning but the chair probably crashes into something else because what.]

Are you serious? Who decided that?

[jackhole]

STOP BEING FIVE THEN, YOU BRAT.

[ HE'LL THROW MORE THINGS NOW. BALLS OF PAPER. SCIENCE BEAKERS. WHATEVER'S CLOSEST. ]
