SCIENTISTS & OVERSEER
WEEK 0

Unlike everyone else, you know exactly why you're here.

You've been hired to do a job, and it's time to carry it through. Sure, it's a bit odd to wake up with all the residents you were going to be overseeing, but it doesn't really matter. Once everyone is asleep, you have a chance to slip out. After all, the curfew doesn't apply to staff. Once you've left your assigned apartment, Judy's calm, even voice speaks up from the ceiling.

"Good evening. It's time to get to work..."

She directs you down to the first floor, through a courtroom and an eerily clean room where there's a number pad. You know the code already: 6227#316. Down you go into the operating theater, and through it to the program labs. Here, you'll find everything you may need to carry out your work from the terminal describing that work to a wide variety of tools to be used in the operating theater.

After all, none of this is unfamiliar to you. Since you woke up, you knew what you were going to be doing here. You just had to wait until the curfew was in place. The drugs that effect everyone else don't bother you, since you received your shot to resist it. Though, oddly, you know you have that resistance, but you can't quite remember when you got it...

Welcome, science team. It's time to get to work so that you can go home all the quicker.

I'm definitely open to suggestions. What do you have in mind?
turinged: (hungry for the histories they show me)

There's a boy named Adam. Prone to anger with little provocation. Possible tension with his family and friends, and it seems as though he has extreme problems with trust. If we manage to bypass that wariness, he may be easily manipulated.

Then, a woman named Franziska who is extremely prideful. She was boastful about her skills and position in life within several minutes of speaking to her. This may indicate that she feels she has something to prove, and is speaking to defend her insecurities.

[He nods slowly, doing his best not to have any sort of emotion on his face as he listens to Ava's descriptions.]

I've met both of them. I didn't get that impression with Adam though. [He can't help it when he smirks though.] Guess I'll have to look a little closer. Franziska, on the other hand...definitely. She told me she's a prosecutor and she's got a whip that she carries around. Who does that? [Like really though.] She seemed into the idea of pain as a lesson, too. Keep that in mind.
turinged: (how it feels to pass a day)

The next time you speak, if it seems natural, show him sympathy or pity and see what his reaction is. I would be curious to know.

[she nods]

It may be simple to turn public opinion against her. She is unpleasant.
chiseler: (ask a reason and no reply)

…sure. [Considering how his conversation with Adam went the first time, this shouldn't be hard at all. It's just a game, isn't it? An experiment. These people don't really make a huge difference one way or another.] Let me see if I can get him to talk to me a little more, see what happens. You'd be surprised how many of them are willing to talk in general.

Unpleasant is a good word for it, but we should keep her for a little while. If we eliminate her immediately, we lose another person we can scapegoat.
